Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a lovely idea from the crazy-for-books blog. It ties together lots of different book blogs over the weekend. Please go and have a look at some of the other blogs involved. The question this week is 'How many books do you have in your to-read-list?'

For me, this is tricky. I have fifteen books on my goodreads list...

Jdfield's to-read book montage

Switched
Eragon
Shiver
Fallen
City of Bones
Graceling
Evermore
A Great and Terrible Beauty
The Maze Runner
The Hunger Games
Jacob Have I Loved
Island of the Blue Dolphins
The Other Side of the Island
Never After
A Brief History of Montmaray

then there are the books on the bedroom floor, the books about Ukraine I should read for a story I'm writing, and the books about King Arthur I've got for another story, and all the free books I've got stacked up on my Kindle...

Too many books, not enough time...

  1. Fifteen. Sounds so nice and manageable. Come read my Book Blogger Hop post in which I discuss my TBR and coin a new way of measuring it.

  6. Joe, Joe, Joe! Why is my book not on your Goodreads list?!???! ;) As for a TBR pile? All mine are sitting in 'sample' form on my Kindle. I'm finding that by reading the sample first, I'll know if I'm hooked enough to want to buy it and keep going ... thus my TBR list keeps changing (like seriously changing where a whole set of 5-10 books can disappear overnight JUST from having read a sample. But then the ones I'm dying to read suck me in so well, then my list stays stagnant for a bit while I read. :)
Now, what story would have you reading about the Ukraine??!!? :) :)

  7. Joe, I shamelessly stole this and stuck it on my own blog :D

Aimee, you're on mine :) I even wrangled my blog into showing pictures (no mean feat - I'm very special when it comes to technology. Honestly, it's a shame for me.)

  8. @Aimee, I have a feeling your book probably belongs on my read list... :)

  9. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I totally understand what you mean about Fallen taking a long time to get to the point. After you mentioned that, I remember thinking the same exact thing. I'm about to start the second book in the series so hopefully it'll be a bit more active.
